Fuck these gas prices. Just filled up for work tomorrow, $1.43 per litre is going to send me down a hole, and fast. Considering selling the V6 for something more frugal (and manual, duh).

Convince me. Or don't.

Sweet dreams to you all.

Do anything and everything you can to reduce the cost of going to work. No matter how much you love your job, if you didn't need the money you'd probably do something else. Or, maybe, do nothing. With that in mind, reducing the length (you never, ever get time back) and cost of your commute is one of the smartest things you can do. Boost short term revenues, and move retirement closer. Get the cheapest commute you can, and keep a fun car just for your own enjoyment. It's hard for some folks. If you're a builder, you can't just take a bus or bike and bring 400 lbs of tools. But if you're going to the same office in the same place every day, you may have some real money saving options. Good luck!

$1.43 X 3.78 equals $5.40 per gallon. That ain't that bad, is it? I paid $3.18 on Sunday and today I paid $3.47. That seems like a pretty good jump in 3 days.

I do 40 mpg (US Gallons) on the highway with my mk2 integra, and it's fun to drive occasionally. Manual + 4 cylinders = all the best cars

Is the car paid for? If so, keep it. Because fuel is not the most expensive thing to run a car.

Paying for expensive repairs? If so, now you want to consider looking for something that doesn't fail in silly expensive ways.
